The Institution has built a new spacious Central Library spanning a total floor area of 110 sq mt. having the flavor of aesthetics with utility, the modern Library houses more than 10,000 books and subscriptions to journals. The Library comes with provision for modern facilities including Library Automation with advanced computers and other peripherals. One word that would be used to describe our library is 'Unique'.

Comfortable annd spacious classrooms provide a favourable environment for learning. Akshara has well furnished Class Rooms/lecture hall. It is equipped with audiovisual equipment like Smart boards, slide and film projectors, OHP's, etc,..
Well Equipped Labs
Akshara Pre-University College has well-equipped laboratories for Physics, Chemistry and Biology students. With a small batch size, the institution not only offers personalised attention, but also ensures that every student gets access to modern technology. The laboratories are upgraded to meet the demands of the new CBSE curriculum.
Girls Hostel and MEss
There are separate hostels for girls within the college campus and they provide a learner friendly and safe environment to the students. Full time wardens in the hostels maintain the discipline and ensure a problem free atmosphere. Apart from that, student welfare officers and student counsellors take individual care of the students and provide proper guidance.
Transportaion Facilty
Our fleet of 10 School/college buses is at the disposal of the students for every transportation need they may have, ranging from daily shuttle service to and from college for the day students.
Computer Lab
The state of the art computer lab with internet facility introduces the students to these jargons and enhances their logical & reasoning ability. A well-equipped computer laboratory and systems with modern hardware configurations and also ensures that every student makes the most of the available modern technology.
Sports
We believe that for the healthy development of an individual, it is not enough to focus on academics alone. A healthy spirit of sportsmanship must be developed in each individual. The student must be able to participate in physical activity too. The college has a large playground with facilities for cricket, basketball, football and other track and field games. In addition, there is an indoor badminton court.
