"ಅಕ್ಷರ"ಸಿ.ಬಿ.ಎಸ್.ಸಿ.ಶಾಲೆ,ಶಿವಮೊಗ್ಗದಲ್ಲಿ 66ನೇ ಕನ್ನಡ ರಾಜ್ಯೋತ್ಸವವನ್ನು ವಿಭಿನ್ನ ಕಾಯ೯ಕ್ರಮಗಳ ಮೂಲಕ ವಿಜೃಂಭಣೆಯಿಂದ ಆಚರಿಸಲಾಯಿತು."

ಕಾಯ೯ಕ್ರಮದ ಮುಖ್ಯ ಅತಿಥಿಯಾಗಿ ಶಿವಮೊಗ್ಗ ಗ್ರಾಮಂತರ ಜಿಲ್ಲಾ ಶಾಸಕರಾದ ಕೆ.ಬಿ.ಅಶೋಕ ನಾಯ್ಕ್ , ಶಾಲೆಯ ನಿದೆ೯ಶಕರಾದ ಕೆ.ಎಲ್.ರಾಜು, ಹಾಗೂ ಶಾಲೆಯ ಪ್ರಾಂಶುಪಾಲರಾದ ಡಾ| ಜಯ ಗಣೇಶ ಅವರು ವೇದಿಕೆಯ ಮೇಲೆ ಉಪಸ್ಥಿತರಿದ್ದರು. ಕನ್ನಡ ಶಿಕ್ಷಕಿ ಶ್ರೀಮತಿ ಸುಧಾ ಅವರು ಗಣ್ಯರನ್ನು ಸ್ವಾಗತಿಸಿದರು. ಶಾಲಾ ಮಕ್ಕಳು ಕಾಯ೯ಕ್ರಮ ನಿರೂಪಣೆ ಮಾಡಿದರು.ಮಕ್ಕಳಿಂದ ವಿವಿಧ ರೀತಿಯ ಸಾಂಸ್ಕ್ರತಿಕ ಕಾಯ೯ಕ್ರಮಗಳು ಜರುಗಿದವು.9ನೇ ತರಗತಿಯ ವಿಧ್ಯಾಥಿ೯ನಿ ಕುಮಾರಿ ಸೇವಂತಿ ವಂದನಾಪ೯ನಣ ಭಾಷಣ ಮಾಡಿದರು. ನಾಡಗೀತೆಯೊಂದಿಗೆ ಕಾಯ೯ಕ್ರಮ ಮುಕ್ತಾಯವಾಯಿತು.

Rashtriya Poshan Maah celebrated by students of Akshara on 28th September 2021. The objective of the Poshan Maah is to ensure community mobilisation and bolster people's participation for addressing malnutrition amongst young children, and women and to ensure health and nutrition for everyone. Every year the month of September is celebrated as Rashtriya Poshan Maah across the country. Therefore, every Aksharite is encouraged to share or offer a nutritious meal with at least one child from the underprivileged sections of the society, living in their neighbourhood. This will not only help the child understand the nutritional levels in the society, but also imbibe a sense of social responsibility, inclusion and volunteerism.
AKSHARA celebrated the 75th Independence day on 15th Aug 2021
AKSHARA celebrated the 75th Independence day on the auspicious morning of 15th August with spirit and patriotic zeal.The Akshara family joined the function through a virtual platform.
The dynamic Shri K B Ashok Naik, MLA - Shimoga Rural & Secretary of Akshara Group of Institutions hoisted the National flag followed by melodious retention of the National Anthem and patriotic songs sung by teachers of Akshara School (CBSE). Shri Ashok Ji extended his warm wishes for this day and encouraged the students to be responsible citizens.
The Chairman of Akshara Group of Institutions Smt. Rathnakumari K graced the occasion with her presence and offered her hearty wishes on this memorable day.
Prof. Madegowda, Dean of AIMS delivered an inspirational speech filled with patriotic fervour.
Mr. Ramachandra Baliga, Principal ; Akshara PU College felicitated the students on this occasion.
Prof. Girish H T, Principal of Akshara Degree college and Dr. Jeya Ganesh S, Principal Of Akshara School ( CBSE) extended their warm wishes on this occasion.
A colourful dance was staged by the group of students filling the aura with patriotism and festivity. The splendid performances by the Kindergarten students representing the freedom fighters just emerged as the great work of resurrecting the characters they have impersonated.
The event was organised by Mr. Mahendra, Physical Education Teacher of Akshara School.The great day that emanates liberation, peace and joy was honoured by the management, staff, parents and students.
ಅಕ್ಷರ ಶಾಲೆಯಲ್ಲಿ 75 ನೇ ಸ್ವಾತಂತ್ರ್ಯ ದಿನವನ್ನು ಆಗಸ್ಟ್ 15 ರ ಶುಭ ಮುಂಜಾನೆ ಉತ್ಸಾಹ ಹಾಗೂ ದೇಶಭಕ್ತಿಯಿಂದ ಆಚರಿಸಲಾಯಿತು. ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮವನ್ನು ವರ್ಚುವಲ್ ವೇದಿಕೆಯ ಮೂಲಕ ನಡೆಸಲಾಯಿತು.
ಡೈನಾಮಿಕ್ ಶ್ರೀ ಕೆ.ಬಿ ಅಶೋಕ್ ನಾಯಕ್, ಶಾಸಕರು - ಶಿವಮೊಗ್ಗ ಗ್ರಾಮಾಂತರ ಕ್ಷೇತ್ರ ಮತ್ತು ಅಕ್ಷರ ಸಮೂಹ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಗಳ ಕಾರ್ಯದರ್ಶಿ ಧ್ವಜಾರೋಹಣ ಮಾಡಿದರು. ನಂತರ ಭಾರತದ ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರಗೀತೆಯನ್ನು ಹಾಗೂ ದೇಶಭಕ್ತಿಗೀತೆಗಳನ್ನು ಅಕ್ಷರ ಶಾಲೆಯ (ಸಿಬಿಎಸ್‌ಇ) ಶಿಕ್ಷಕರು ಸುಮಧುರವಾಗಿ ಹಾಡಿದರು. ಈ ದಿನದ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮವು ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳನ್ನು ಜವಾಬ್ದಾರಿಯುತ ನಾಗರೀಕರಾಗಲು ಪ್ರೋತ್ಸಾಹಿಸುತ್ತದೆ.
ಅಕ್ಷರ ಸಮೂಹ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಗಳ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷೆ ಶ್ರೀಮತಿ. ರತ್ನಕುಮಾರಿ ಕೆ ಅವರು ಉಪಸ್ಥಿತರಿದ್ದು ಈ ಸ್ಮರಣೀಯ ದಿನದಂದು ಹೃತ್ಪೂರ್ವಕ ಶುಭಾಶಯಗಳನ್ನು ನುಡಿದರು.

ಅಕ್ಷರ ಪಿಯು ಕಾಲೇಜಿನ ಪ್ರಾಂಶುಪಾಲರಾದ ಶ್ರೀ ರಾಮಚಂದ್ರ ಬಾಳಿಗ ಅವರು ಹಿತನುಡಿಗಳನ್ನು ನುಡಿದರು.
ಅಕ್ಷರ ಪದವಿ ಕಾಲೇಜಿನ ಪ್ರಾಂಶುಪಾಲರಾದ ಪ್ರೊ. ಗಿರೀಶ್ ಹೆಚ್ ಟಿ ಹಾಗೂ ಅಕ್ಷರ ಶಾಲೆಯ (ಸಿಬಿಎಸ್‌ಇ) ಪ್ರಾಂಶುಪಾಲರಾದ ಡಾ. ಜೈ ಗಣೇಶ್ ಎಸ್ ಅವರು ಹಾರ್ದಿಕ ಶುಭಾಶಯಗಳನ್ನು ಹೇಳಿದರು
ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು ವರ್ಣರಂಜಿತ ನೃತ್ಯವನ್ನು ಮಾಡಿದರು. ಸ್ವಾತಂತ್ರ್ಯ ಹೋರಾಟಗಾರರನ್ನು ಪ್ರತಿನಿಧಿಸುವ ಶಿಶುವಿಹಾರದ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳ ಅದ್ಭುತ ಪ್ರದರ್ಶನಗಳು ಅವರು ನಟಿಸಿದ ಪಾತ್ರಗಳನ್ನು ಪುನರುತ್ಥಾನಗೊಳಿಸುವ ಮಹಾನ್ ಕೆಲಸವಾಗಿ ಹೊರಹೊಮ್ಮಿತು
ಈ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮವನ್ನು ಅಕ್ಷರ ಶಾಲೆಯ ದೈಹಿಕ ಶಿಕ್ಷಣ ಶಿಕ್ಷಕರಾದ ಶ್ರೀ ಮಹೇಂದ್ರ ಅವರು ಆಯೋಜಿಸಿದರು. ವಿಮೋಚನೆ, ಶಾಂತಿ ಮತ್ತು ಸಂತೋಷವನ್ನು ಹೊರಹೊಮ್ಮಿಸುವ ಈ ಮಹತ್ವದ ದಿನವನ್ನು ಆಡಳಿತ ಮಂಡಳಿ, ಸಿಬ್ಬಂದಿ ವರ್ಗ, ಪೋಷಕರು ಮತ್ತು ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳಿಂದ ಆಚರಿಸಲಾಯಿತು.
Yellow - The color of optimism, glory, sunshine, and happiness
Yellow Day was celebrated on Monday, 19 July, 2021 through zoom platform and the program was organized by Ms. Shruthi Pai, KG Coordinator.
A day dedicated to the yellow color was marked with children dressed in different hues of yellow. As a part of the yellow day, Art and craft activities were conducted, where in students enjoyed making paper crafts with yellow color constructed papers.
Parents of Kindergartens beautifully decorated their houses in a yellow theme and all the yellow objects from a child’s immediate surroundings were brought to the Zoom classroom. The students sang rhymes along with the video shown.
It was a fun-filled learning day for Kindergarten!
World Environment Day 2021 - News Report
Akshara School celebrated World Environment Day at Zoom Auditorium on June 5, 2021 in a glorious and enlightening way. World Environment Day is celebrated each year globally to raise awareness about the importance of protecting nature. Global theme for the day 2021 is “Ecosystem Restoration”.
Connecting the above theme Ms. Saritha, Eco Club Coordinator coordinated with Grade 10 students and conducted a virtual Environment day effectively. The Program was inaugurated by Ms. Rathnakumari, President of Akshara School by planting a sapling in the School campus and stressed the importance of environment day, environmental protection and its benefits to mankind. Our principal Dr. Jeya Ganesh S gave away the Presidential address and enlightened the children about Ecosystem Restoration.
The program attained its utmost success by planting more than 70 saplings near students houses and streets within a short period.
Further, Akshara School initiated "Grow green, Micro green" projects for students . All the students of Akshara were encouraged to grow micro greens in the comforts of their homes.
ವಿಶ್ವ ಪರಿಸರ ದಿನ 2021 - ಸುದ್ದಿ ವರದಿ
ಅಕ್ಷರ ಶಾಲೆಯು ಜೂನ್ 5, 2021 ರಂದು ಜೂಮ್ ಸಭಾಂಗಣದಲ್ಲಿ ವಿಶ್ವ ಪರಿಸರ ದಿನವನ್ನು ಅದ್ಭುತ ಮತ್ತು ಪ್ರಬುದ್ಧ ರೀತಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಆಚರಿಸಿತು. ಪ್ರಕೃತಿಯನ್ನು ರಕ್ಷಿಸುವ ಮಹತ್ವದ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಜಾಗೃತಿ ಮೂಡಿಸಲು ಪ್ರತಿ ವರ್ಷ ಜಾಗತಿಕವಾಗಿ ವಿಶ್ವ ಪರಿಸರ ದಿನವನ್ನು ಆಚರಿಸಲಾಗುತ್ತದೆ. 2021 ರ ದಿನದ ಜಾಗತಿಕ ವಿಷಯವೆಂದರೆ “ಪರಿಸರ ವ್ಯವಸ್ಥೆ ಪುನಃಸ್ಥಾಪನೆ”.
ಮೇಲಿನ ಥೀಮ್ ಅನ್ನು ಸಂಪರ್ಕಿಸುತ್ತಾ, ಪರಿಸರ ಕ್ಲಬ್ ಸಂಯೋಜಕರಾದ ಶ್ರೀಮತಿ ಸರಿತಾ ಅವರು ಗ್ರೇಡ್ 10 ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳೊಂದಿಗೆ ಸಮನ್ವಯ ಸಾಧಿಸಿದರು ಮತ್ತು ವಾಸ್ತವ ಪರಿಸರ ದಿನವನ್ನು ಪರಿಣಾಮಕಾರಿಯಾಗಿ ನಡೆಸಿದರು. ಶಾಲಾ ಕ್ಯಾಂಪಸ್‌ನಲ್ಲಿ ಸಸಿ ನೆಡುವ ಮೂಲಕ ಅಕ್ಷರಾ ಶಾಲೆಯ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷರು ಶ್ರೀಮತಿ. ರತ್ನಕುಮಾರಿ ಅವರು ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮವನ್ನು ಉದ್ಘಾಟಿಸಿದರು ಮತ್ತು ಪರಿಸರ ಸಂರಕ್ಷಣೆ ಮತ್ತು ಮಾನವಕುಲಕ್ಕೆ ಅದರ ಪ್ರಯೋಜನಗಳನ್ನು ಒತ್ತಿ ಹೇಳಿದರು. ನಮ್ಮ ಪ್ರಾಂಶುಪಾಲ ಡಾ.ಜಯ ಗಣೇಶ್ ಎಸ್ ಅವರು ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷೀಯ ಭಾಷಣ ಮಾಡಿದರು ಮತ್ತು ಪರಿಸರ ವ್ಯವಸ್ಥೆ ಪುನಃಸ್ಥಾಪನೆ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಮಕ್ಕಳಿಗೆ ತಿಳಿಸಿದರು.
ಅಲ್ಪಾವಧಿಯಲ್ಲಿಯೇ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳ ಮನೆ ಮತ್ತು ಬೀದಿಗಳ ಬಳಿ 70 ಕ್ಕೂ ಹೆಚ್ಚು ಸಸಿಗಳನ್ನು ನೆಡುವ ಮೂಲಕ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮವು ಅತ್ಯಂತ ಯಶಸ್ಸನ್ನು ಗಳಿಸಿತು.
ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ, ಅಕ್ಷರ ಶಾಲೆ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳಿಗೆ "ಗ್ರೋ ಗ್ರೀನ್, ಮೈಕ್ರೋ ಗ್ರೀನ್" ಯೋಜನೆಗಳನ್ನು ಪ್ರಾರಂಭಿಸಿತು. ಅಕ್ಷರದ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳಿಗೆ ತಮ್ಮ ಮನೆಗಳ ಸೌಕರ್ಯಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಮೈಕ್ರೊ ಗ್ರೀನ್ಸ್ ಬೆಳೆಯಲು ಉತ್ತೇಜನ ನೀಡಲಾಯಿತು.

International Yoga Day 2021
Akshara School celebrated International Yoga Day on 21, June 2021 in Zoom Auditorium coordinated by our Physical Education Teacher Mr. Mahendran. International Yoga Day was observed to highlight the importance of Yoga and the pivotal role it plays in rejuvenating our mind and the body, leading to a healthier lifestyle. Global theme for the day 2021 is “ Yoga for wellness ”
The Program was inaugurated by Dr. Jeyaganesh S, Principal and enlightened the children about the importance of yoga. Mr. Harsha C.M. and Mr. Vijay C. M. Physical Education students of KUVEMPU University addressed the children to improve the memory skills and cognitive function by practicing Yoga and encouraged the parents, teachers and students of Akshara family to do different types of Asanas.

Kindergarten Green Day 2021
Green – The colour of Prosperity and Harmony
Green Day was celebrated with great zeal and enthusiasm in the Akshara’s KinderGarten section on 23, June, 2021 through zoom platform and the program was organised by Ms. Shruthi Pai, KG Coordinator. The students and teachers dressed in pretty green attires and looked eco friendly. Parents of Kindergartens beautifully decorated their houses in a green theme and all the green objects from a child’s immediate surroundings were brought to the Zoom classroom.
Students dressed up as live models of green plants & trees; spoke a few lines about the green day and recited related rhymes.
Green Day was a practical learning experience for the children and was very enjoyable.
